Kick start

I have been doing this woe for about 9 weeks and have lost 15lbs. This is great and I am really pleased but my loss has definitely slowed over the last 3 weeks. So, I am going back to basics to get it kick started again. I think I have been letting it slip and allowing myself the odd extra 'treat', a few extra nuts (every day), some dark chocolate (every day), greek yoghurt and raspberries (everyday), cheese (every day). You get the picture!
I am going back to tracking and planning for a week to see if I can drop a few pounds.
I am happy to receive any friend requests for any like minded people.

Hey! I have just been doing this type of eating for about a week. I cut down (but not completely) the tortillas that I used to eat. I have joined a few groups like Paleo to get more information about this HIGH FAT eating and I have found it to be beneficial for me. This is of course energy wise and not so much scale wise. I, too, want to lose about 20-30 more pounds (lost 50 on Weight Watchers) and turned to this type of eating. I did, however, try to limit cheese and dairy products. I was having a lot of cheese. I stick to almonds, avocados, eggs, salmon, and bacon. Havent really tried too many other ideas. Really trying to make it simple so I don't feel like its overwhelming. I also try to incorporate counting my macros an hitting them to the gram. Right now I am at 140 g CARBS, 140 grams PROTEIN, and 78 grams FAT. It comes out to approximately 30%/30%/40% (C,P,F). I am 5'2 and 178 pounds and eating 1828 calories a day. What is your calorie intake?0

Hi Nayners, sorry I havent replied earlier. I usually access the site on the app so cant see these posts.
I am doing 20g carbs. My macros that I am aiming for are 10%/20%/70% (C, P, F). Its not easy. I have been back online and tracking every day to get my macros right. Had some success this week. I put a few pounds on over New Year (frustratingly I managed to get through xmas without a gain but had a NY binge). I tend to go over my protein needs and am short on the other two. Today I had 4%, 59%, 37%. This week I have lost 5.5lbs so I am really chuffed and can thank the religious tracking and sticking to low carb consistently. 16lb loss in total and feeling positive for the upcoming weeks.
My daily calorie goal is set to 1498 but I dont worry about it too much. I typically go about 100 over, so still low calorie for me (my TDEE is about 1900).0
