Can't believe the holiday is almost here! Hope you all are keeping well and it is not too hectic for you! My exercise plan is non esistant at the moment although I am getting in 10.000 steps a day.....the problem is the amount and type of food I am eating in between those steps! Lol. So if you celebrate this holiday any special plans?. I am heading to my parents town on Dec 23..... Flying and driving......am sure the traveling will be awful!

Anybody up for a new challenge in January? I was thinking that we could do an exercise challenge which would be good for Karen.....she would win the weight loss challenge ( good for you Karen....happy to hear you are losing well post operatively!) or if we have devices like Fitbit we could do a challenge on Match Up.com. Just a thought!

Today I head for my sisters home for a couple days in lovely San Diego area! Hope you have a great weekend!

who won the challenge???? And how is Dee.....anyone hear from her or Heather? Or Pat?

Nancy

    Hellooooo Nancy!
So good to hear from you.
I may be slowed down in the exercise challenge... I have some infection complications in one of my incision sites and may not be back in the pool for a while, so I'm up for something that will force mee to seek alternatives.

No problems here with holiday eating... I'm still liquids, moving on to puree soon. Remember, the love and fellowship is WAY more important than the food.

I am up for a new challenge in January. I am good for pretty much whatever type of challenge. As far as the previous challenge goes it looks like the winner was me, but is there any way it can be split 50/50 between Pat and myself since he was the one that lost the most weight?

I live quite close to my family so for the holidays I will be spending a lot of time with them. Also, for an early Christmas present I have decided to share my Christmas card with you all.

Love it Zac!!! Ho hoho! And congrats to you and Pat on co-winning the challenge! So that is a split 50/50.......so what type of gift certificate or gift card do you want? Just let me know!

Heading for home and parents tomorrow. Yeah!

Oh Zac, this card is priceless! Wonderful!

We're pretty much playing by ear. I'm inventing a new holiday that I'm calling "Latemas," because I,think we'll be staying in on Christmas so I can nurse my wounds and bronchitis, and Jim can nurse the giant abscess he just got under an infected molar. Eeek.. What a pair we are this year!

Hope the rest of you have a jolly, lovely time with family !

Nancy, for me an Amazon card is always a winner, but really anything is fine. I hope you have a wonderful time at home with the family.

Karen, you two do sound like quite the pair haha. A quality Latemas in January+ sounds like it'll be an amazing event. Hopefully you and Jim will be up and about as soon as possible. (within reason of course)

I have taken the rest of the week off just to relax and such. I am really looking forward to it. Tomorrow I have a couple of gift deliveries to make and Wednesday afternoon I will be spending some time at my local cathedral for a Christmas performance. I may not be Catholic, but they sure do have an amazing choir and a wonderful annual event. The rest of the time will pretty much all be spent with the family. I hope they enjoy the pajamas I will be wearing for Christmas Eve as much as I will (I can't imagine anyone not being a fan).

If I don't make it back on here before Thursday I just want to wish all of you a fantastic Christmas (or a fantastic rest of the week if you would prefer).

I usually bake Christmas cookies, breads, etc. for the neighbors but didn't want the temptation this year. Still, I missed doing it!
So Jim agreed to help deliver tomorrow, and I am making cinnamon rolls--uncooked! In fancy tinfoil holiday pans. With instructions on how long to let rise and bake, and a little storage container of glaze. So fresh cinnamon rolls for christmas morning for all our neighbors, and nothing for me to nibble on! Jim will probably do quality control by popping next door on both sides on Thursday, lol.

    Merry merry!

    Hi Zac,

Thats very kind of you. Happy to do that if thats what you want, though i feel a bit guilt for basically giving up this past month. Sorry I haven't been around with the death in the family and the two trips down souths it's all I could do to keep my head on.
