I'm glad to hear how many of you are doing well in spite of the holiday season! I also hope everyone is slowly healing from the yuck that seems to go around this time of year.

I'm still adjusting to how little I can accomplish during the day. The plus side is, I'm now able to do two small projects a day, instead of only one. Yesterday was getting the house cleaned up so I can walk through it again. I also bathed the kids.

Today is church so that will probably wipe me out. Also am going to attempt a small shopping run. Or I might fold the laundry instead. It frustrates me, but I have to accept that I probably won't have the energy to do both.

Tomorrow I plan to start taking longer walks.

    Have a great Sunday everyone!

Half hearted attempt at leg day today. Just wasn't feeling it. At least I made it to the gym and went thru the motions though. Possibly a mild case of holiday blues, so far away from family. :-(

Valma I hope you start feeling less fatigued soon! It sounds like your body is letting you know that it still needs lots of rest.

Nice job getting to the gym today Sherry! A half hearted workout is better than no workout! I really believe it's important to give ourselves permission to take it easy or cut it short on days when we're not feeling it. I think I would hate being away from my family over Christmas. I don't see them all that often considering how close we all live, but it's a comfort knowing they're all within a 15 minute drive when I need them. Where did you meet your husband? Were you already in Greece, or did you move there for him?

I had my first weekend workout with my trainer today. Rowed for 15 minutes, did some resistance band exercises, then spent an hour with Jason doing a strength/cardio circuit workout. Since he's off all week he decided to work Sunday. I usually see him 3x for 30 minutes each, so instead we did 2 of this week's sessions back-to-back. He gave me homework every day while he's out (I see him again a week from tomorrow), and I'm not sure what he was thinking but when I add it all up it comes to 10+ hours in 7 days, including 75 minutes on Christmas Day and going to the gym for a walk on the treadmill on my rest day. Tuesday he has me biking for 60 minutes before work (I typically do 30 minutes) and then extra cardio & a 45-60 minute strength workout in the evening. On Friday he has me swimming in the morning, then in the evening doing 60 minutes of additional cardio plus another 45-60 minute strength workout.
