Hi. I got this for Xmas and just getting used to it. I have worn this all day, walking around and shopping, no exercise, and it says I have burned 2346! That's loads. How do I know this is true?

Connect your accounts, enable negative calorie adjustments, and stop logging any step-based activity. Eat back your Fitbit adjustments for a few weeks, then reevaluate your progress.

Your Fitbit burn is your TDEE—way more accurate than any online calculator.

Research how many calories the human body burns so you realize that is totally realistic, if not a tad low for what you said you did.
