A good read overall but interestingly it says "Experts say listening to music during exercise can give you a better workout in several ways. Scientists claim it can increase your indurance, boost your mood and can distract you from any discomfort experienced during your workout"

That last bit is interesting, I'm the first to duck out if I get a twinge anywhere!
