DH had to come home to do some work and go back out to meet a client, so today is an off day for me. It's rainy and yuck anyway. Hopefully I'll get to the gym tomorrow before they close early and stay closed for the new year. Then I'll just hit two days on the weekend too, as I've been doing lately.

Hope everyone's having a nice day and wrapping up another year. :)

    Great threadstarter again today!

My trainer told me to do 30 minutes of cardio today. My choice what I do. I intended to swim because this is my only day this week to do it, but it's back to being very cold so getting in the water just didn't sound appealing. I brought my swimming gear bag with me when I left the house this morning just in case I changed my mind. Also brought my gym bag with me because it was more likely I was going to stop at my regular gym & do 30 minutes on the elliptical. Third option was to come home & get on my bike, but I'm still a little burned out on it from last week. After work I went to buy new running shoes (hoping to start up again this week), then went to Target, then stopped at my sister's to pick something up from her, and then lost interest in stopping at the gym. Air temp is -6F (-18F windchill, which is -28C). Plus I had a headache. I bought Excedrine at Target and was taking it out in the parking lot, but it hadn't kicked in yet. Then I realized I walked with my friend at lunch, which totally qualifies as 30 minutes of cardio of my choice. So I came home and hauled in my swim bag, my gym bag, my work tote bag, my purse, my new shoes, and my Target bag. That's a whole lot of stuff to haul with me just to come home again, but I was prepared for anything!

Sherry I hope you're able to get your workouts in as planned so you don't have to try to double up again.
