Morning at the gym, treadmill, weight machines, recumbent bike, but pool lanes were too full to get much work done in there. Nevertheless = 6.84 miles.

January total so far = 86.46 miles.

Another 6.6 miles walking from Monday, Tuesday, and this morning; bringing my total miles 52.7 for January.

I have a fitness test after work that I'm kind of dreading - even though I signed up for it. Then depending on whether I end up mostly dead or all dead, as determined by Miracle Max, I may attend a Curves Body Basic class tonight.

I hope everyone has a great day.

If you're mostly dead, he can bring you back. If you're completely dead, the only thing to do is go through your pockets and look for loose change. Have fun storming the castle!

    BAHAHAHAHA
    Loved this too

Adding another 34 miles. That should make 190 out of 200.
@ Dave - So that should get me to about 95%. Since scientific rounding would say we round to the even number when the last digit is a five, that would round to 100%. So do I still have to ride the last 10?
LOL  I would have to say yes, but with as many miles as you already have, I'd give you credit for it anyway.

3.2 mile walk in the rain. Left my phone home so it wouldn't drown. It's good to go without the music once in a while, I guess.

Ok Janet, I punched out another 12 miles today between XC skis and the bike. That makes 202 out of 200. GOAL!

This makes me sooooooo happy! :D Congrats on making goal!

As for me, I'm having a rest day today but I'll be back tomorrow.

It's been several weeks since I posted here, but I have good news. When I was here in late December, I was frustrated because my knee injury was preventing me from being as active as I want to be. I just completed 6 weeks of physical therapy, and although I'm not completely free of pain/discomfort, I am confident that I can put off total knee replacement surgery for a couple of months. (I want to wait until June when I will have 2 weeks vacation available to spend recovering from surgery).

I have resumed my nightly walks with Cora, my blue heeler pup, hikes on Saturday and bike rides on Sunday afternoons.

When I pledged my miles for January, I felt my goal of a mere 30 miles was going to be difficult to meet, but as of today, I have 41.1 miles >> 25.4 walking miles & 15.7 cycling miles. And I still have a week to go.

So UP my goal to 50miles, because I'm gonna be movin' my @$$ some more! :D

    01/04 - 5.6mile bike ride
    01/05 - 1.2mile walk w/ Cora
    01/07 - 1.6mile walk w/ Cora
    01/11 - 2mile walk w/ Cora
    01/12 - 2mile walk w/ Cora
    01/14 - 2mile walk w/ Cora
    01/15 - 2mile walk w/ Cora
    01/16 - 2mile walk w/ Cora
    01/17 - 3mile hike
    01/18 - 10.1mile bike rider
    01/19 - 2mile walk w/ Cora
    01/20 - 2mile walk w/ Cora
    01/21 - 2mile walk w/ Cora
    01/22 - 1.6mile walk w/ Cora
    01/23 - 2mile walk w/ Cora

on a side note..i just signed up for MUDD, SWEAT, and TEARS. Has anyone had any experience with this obstacle course and if so can you send me some pointers, ie..how best to train. Any suggestions will be appreciated..as this will test my endurance while supporting my post cancer sister in law. This will be our kick cancers's *kitten* salute!

Weights today but a post weights cool down ride netted me another 5 miles for 207 out of 200. My coach's new weight program is killing my legs. He does that to me about twice a year and it kills at first but then makes me faster or climb better. Sometimes suffering is good. We can not know peace and joy until we have truly suffered. I think he firmly believes this. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
