Hey guys! I am trying to follow the meal plan that is in the DVD kit...admittingly I haven't gotten my kit yet but looked at one online so I could start meal planning. The first week mentions a 1200 cal limit for ladies...is that before or after workouts? Today I did Zumba and burnt about 400 cals from my HR/activity tracker and I'm concerned that eating only 1200 (net 800) is a terrible idea since 1200 is already prettt low. Thoughts?

Anytime they have a calorie recommendation for these programs, I always follow it as a net, rather than a pre-workout number. Beachbody always states that anything lower than 1200 is not good, so I'm hoping so in this case, too! I generally follow 1600 just for this reason, since I normally burn about 400 calories a day with my workouts and other activities. Hope this helps!0
