Great idea for group

I think this is a great idea for a group I need to lose 100 lbs and knowing others do to and are struggling like me helps. Plus we can be here to support each other through the tough times.

Hi Spinnyjenn....that's what I'm hoping for! I need to lose 140lbs...just restarted AGAIN! But I truly want this to be my LAST beginning....I'm really ready to make a change and would love to have support as well as be support for others in the same situation!0

Hi both! I've just restarted too after a year off. This is a great idea for a group. I have just over 100lb to lose (207 to be precise) and that is really, really daunting...I'm glad I found this group0

I have an eating habit of whenever I feel depressed or bored I eat, even if I am not hungry. I also worry that I have an eating disorder because I can be full but if there is food around I will totally eat. It is a blow to my self confidence in myself. One of my goals for this week is to practice better self control. I am glad I will have all of you for support. We can do this together!0

Does anybody have any mantras to share? Nobody has replied...I've invited a lot more people to join. If any of you know anybody that log in fairly regularly and may be motivating or need motivation? Let"s build this group into a nice strong support system!!!

I'm doing good! I was off today and I stuck with it. My days off usually involve me binging on my comfort foods. I stuck with my meal plan and I survived. I got the munchies so I munched, on nutritious food, with portion control!
I don't have any mantras yet but I'll come up with some.

Kind of proud of myself. We went to Texas Roadhouse today! Usually I cave and go CRAZY with their rolls! I did NOT today! AND I cut my meal in half...had 1/2 for lunch and saved the rest for dinner!! I'm loving this new me!!!
aalice~ awesome! The more we have join the better a support system we will build. I started a thread here in our group with my favorite mantra that has helped keep me motivated...
MdwstQT~ Great job! I know my days off seem to be harder for me too! Luckily for me I'm not due for a day off until around the 8th of February LOL! I'm trying to stay positive about that and using it to keep me in a routine that will be habitual by the time I have a day off again!

aaliceinw~Thanks for the words of encouragement! Good job on your fitness review! How's Curves? Are you loving it? It always helps me to stick with things if I can enjoy them...daunting tasks are not going to entice me to keep going!

MdwstQT it is great to identify the bad habits and choose to do something different. Well done.
sindnjim thanks! What I am loving about Curves is that it is a quick in out 30-40 minutes set routines, easy to follow and you can really feel the burn. It is high intensity, so for me that makes a change from all of my endurance activities like swimming and walking. Hopefully I can stay committed because it should fit in nicely with my work schedule, which was a problem for the normal gym.
I think I like it also because I don't have to count reps or time myself. You just hope in and hop out. Everyone I have seen there are mature ladies AKA over 50 years old0 -
Thanks for the encouragement ladies! This weekend will be hard but I'm determined to fight through it. The old me had been there done that. Time for something different!

I hope you're all feeling great and full of energy! Let's remember that this is not dietet we are doing but all new lifestyle! Am I right?!
Today is my third day of 1200kcal. I didn't menage to stop eating at 7 P.M. i moved that hour to 9 P.M. that is just because i'm going to bed very late, always after midnight and i was starving yesterday! So today my dinner was at 9 And I feel like this time it might actually work out. This time it feels different, I feel like not eating sweets is not a problem I have really good mood today!
* Oh, and sometimes i just won't be able to discuss because i'm not super wise and i don't know english THAT well

Hi all. Just wanted to let you know I changed my user name because that was mine and hubbies email together...but hubby is finally ready to join on his own!
aaliceinw~so glad you are enjoying your workouts! I know for me that goes a long way with helping me to stick to it! I know what you mean about counting reps.....I don't like that either.
