Hello, I'm new here to MFP and Paleo...
I'm 39 years old with 2 kids.. ages 2.5 and 5 months. I would like to lose 20-30 lbs.
I've read a little about Paleo and I like what I read.. but I guess there's no escaping counting calories? lol lol
I hope to make some friends here and motivate others while I stay motivated myself...
And oh yes.. I don't have positive support at home![ ](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/neutral.png)
thank you for helping me be a better me

Welcome. When I first tried paleo I spent all my free time reading about it and looking up recipes online. If you go up to the recommended reading on the main page above you will find a lot to keep you motivated and inspired. Finding this group helped me a lot because I had questions and these kind people answered them even though I'm sure they'd answered them before for other newbies. I lost 20lbs the first month on paleo but more important are the health benefits.0
