Ugh, what should I do?

Ok so in December I sort of dipped my toes in NROL4W - I read the book, I joined this group and read back on a lot of threads, I went through the moves with a trainer at the gym, and I did one each of workout A and B. I was getting psyched to really get into a routine - but then right before Christmas I had to have a procedure which left me with a small incision near my left scapula. They told me put no tension on it for 3 weeks. Grrrr! But ok, I can wait - holidays are busy anyway. Today I got the stitches out and find out it's actually 3 months! So at least deadlifts and seated rows are out - not sure but possibly some other moves. What would you guys do? Start the program and just cut out the moves that would cause problems til I'm healed? Or would it be better to wait until I have full range of motion back? Ugh!

I'd wait - perhaps do some 'practice' exercises that won't affect the area, but it's not worth starting the program and leaving half of it out. In fact, I can't think of a whole heap of exercises that wouldn't have the potential to injure it further. Sorry to hear about it - hope it was nothing serious xxx

Thanks Jo! It wasn't anything serious - and it's all behind me now except the healing :) Hmm well I recently graduated c25k - maybe I'll focus on increasing my speed and I'm sure the time will go by quickly til I can join you all on our way to "looking like goddesses"!
