    No school today! Very cold outside. Did Strategic Endurance workout again. Scored 382. That means I did that many reps of burpees, chair dips, and sit ups. raised my score from 324 from last week. That makes me happy, more sit ups this time. I need to up the burpees. I probably won't get my steps in we will see. Wish I had a tread mill.

    Wow Jen you're killing it!

    So today I slow ran from son's tutor to the gym, did upper body workout, and slow ran back. All I can say about the slow running (think: shuffling along) is...holy hip flexors batman!!!! I have always worked my hip flexors on the hip machine (thank God), but this slow running is a tremendous workout for them! I feel like my hip flexors and my calves are really getting conditioned, vs. my Glutes with my faster stride. It's going to be an interesting few months.

    Hope everyone else is having a good one and keeping warm! It's actually pretty cold here today, so I decided to try to make a chicken pot pie (family size). Hope it turns out okay.

    Trying to just get one decent day together where I manage to eat near my calories. It was a mistake to go off the rails last Sat, it opened a door I want firmly CLOSED.

    Hopped on treadmill this am and went for 8 minute walk outside (it's FREEZING but I just wanted to move). Have hearty & yummy tortilla soup in crock.

    Sherry, it's funny that you say that, I've been totally in the mood for a chicken pot pie lately!

    I am finally on my days off, yesterday out if town doing errands. I am finally going back to nia class, new time for Wednesday 5:15 pm.

    My shoulder is still hurting me but I know it was caused from stress not anything physical.

    I am just taking food one day at a time, I tend to overeat or drink when stressed.

    I took a rest day Sunday. Monday I worked out (15 minutes elliptical, then Jason, then C25K). I took a rest day yesterday. Today is looking like a rest day too, except for a walk at lunch with a friend, because I had a massage after work and I don't want to ruin my zen.

    On day 1 of my 24 day eating challenge and it's gone well. I was truly ready to start eating well again and that made all the difference. Nice not to feel like I'm fighting myself.
