How are you guys biking? I live in Missouri and it is cold (brrrr) and we currently have ice on the ground. Luckily I have my magnetic station bike! No excuses to not bike! I can't wait until spring so I can bike trails!

Good question! I'm jealous of those who can actually bike outdoors right now. I'm in New England and there's no chance of that. I typically cycle indoors on an upright bike but sometimes the recumbent, too. The past summer I rented an outdoor cruiser since I was still in physical therapy and needed something easy for balance. I hope to use my regular bike when it gets warmer!!! I keep putting off taking a spin class, too, because I can't log the miles hahahah I will do it eventually!

I'm in Florida, so even thought it does get cold here (past few days it has gotten down to the 40's with a wind chill in the 20's) there is no snow or ice to deal with. I layer up (left over lessons from my Midwest upbringing! ), throw on some gloves & ride.

Now in the summer...THAT'S a whoooole different ball game! (Bugs and heat and storms, oh my!)

Anytime it's colder than 30 or so, it's indoor for me. Otherwise, I layer up and try to get out there. That is unless there is a tornado or lightning storms. :p
