Don't be defined by the number on the scale.

So I had to admit today I was feeling really discouraged. I got on the scale (yes I know it's evil), and according to it I haven't lost any weight since starting Combat 23 days ago. I have been battling at the 218 mark for months now, I got to 216 last week and this week it seems like that evil 218 has returned!! Anyway, before I let myself get too down about it I came home and took measurements. So far I have lost a total of six inches. 3.5 off my waist, 1 off my chest, and 1.5 off my thighs. I've always had issues with the scale fighting me, and I know eventually it will show up there, but today was just a reminder not to let that number defeat me. 0wjdyp037s6q.jpg

That is a great loss! Definitely keep going - when I did T25 this past year, I lost weight at first, but plateaued for a while. But I lost a ton of inches the entire time - and isn't that what counts? Your clothes fitting better so you can feel great about yourself? I got discouraged too and stopped - and then I gained everything back after all of my hard work. Don't make my mistake! You can always try changing up the meal plan or adding in more cardio if you wanna break it up.
