So how did you find Week 1? Are you on track, creeping ahead or slipping behind for your goal? Is it harder or easier than you thought to get the miles/steps in?

I'm just hoping that the weather holds out as it's getting a bit showery here!

    This challenge is another way for me to be accountable. Have hit my goal of 10k steps each day since January 1. Sometimes it is late at night and I have to get those steps in...but you get a green star on the app...and now I like seeing the stars line up for the week. Thanks for the challenge. Hope everyone is sticking with it. It is making a difference!

    So far it goes well.
    Dont have great days when it comes to the body, this challange help me push myself to get out there even if body are yelling stay inside, in dark rooms, flat down and dont think about moving a muscle :) Have a big believe in that being active will make better days
    Hopeing everyone else doing well !!

    1st week of January walked 36,74 km and had 7 days with 5 500 steps or more

    2nd week of January
    8. 6,04 km and 8 578 steps

    Total is 42,78 km, left to goal 137,22 km
    8 of 8 days goal on 5 500 steps a day done

    1/8 - 6.4 miles. MTD - 55.91

    A little easier than I thought. Parking a little further away from where I want to go and walking to the store for a few items does make a difference. However, I do have to force myself to keep moving.

    I just want to say that you all are doing an amazing job. I took a peek in the January running challenge and most of the goals I saw were much smaller than here. In addition, you don't have to beat your body up running.

    Between the rain and the 10 days of vacation in December I am a little bit rusty. Made it through the first week - let's hope I can keep it up :)

    64.69 / 200 miles only a 135.31 to go !!!

    Hope everyone has a good weekend...eat right, move more and things just seem to then fall into place...across the board. Here's to all of us having things fall into place this year.

    Goals for January - 100 miles / 15 x's 10,000 steps / 15 minutes on mini trampoline

    Week 1 - 18.8 miles; 3/15 x's 10,000 steps;
    Jan 8 - 3.5 miles ....running around the house after my grandson...ha ha ha

    Doing much better with the challenge this month.... trouble with the trampoline though, especially after pulling a couple muscles curling this week.

    I got a new pedal gizmo ... I had an inmotion from QVC...kinda a portable elliptical that you can use sitting down as though it were a recumbent bike. But it broke. I do not recommend that one.

    Putting it together was easy...I did it myself. I tried it out before work this morning. I think it is a winner. It has great reviews, btw. Instructions in perfect English.

    Mentioning this in case anyone needs a little something for those times when you cant get out or need something to just keep you moving. If you have any questions, just shoot them to me...my page is open.

    I am super happy to be part of this group...lots of good energy to keep us going. I am focusing on moving more...eating right (lots of tweaks still in the works) and then not panicking about the scale. Using my clothes to tell me when I am making significant progress.

    And apparently missed a day - was travelling and wrote my exercise on paper in the hotel ... couldn't figure out why I had the grandson on Thursday when I wasn't even home.
