ok I've done VLC in past and it works for me to lose the fluff. But I am a kidney stone sufferer. I want to prevent them. I've added Apple Cider vinegar to my diet. Water water I know. But anything else? How many grams of carbs ? I wanted to stay under 50??

That depends entirely on what your stones are made of. Calcium oxalate? You may want to look into a lower oxalate diet. Usually that means lowering/eliminating coffee, soda, dark leafy greens, beets, chocolate, etc., etc. consumption. Also, increasing fluids as long as not contraindicated, and maybe taking a calcium citrate supplement to bind oxalates in your body.
I honestly don't see why a LCHF diet would cause or increase kidney stones. If you are eating way too much protein and very low carbs, with virtually no fats, that I am pretty sure would be very taxing on your kidneys.0
