Hi, I'm Liam, and I'm sick of being fat. I want to lose 150 lbs and am going to do it this time. I love hiking and live in the shadow of the Gunks in upstate NY. If there is anyone in the relatively local area, I would love to connect and hike. But we spend a lot of time in New England too, so MA/VT is close enough.

    Welcome to the group! If I am interested in going on hikes with others (which is unusual), I will join other groups like the Sierra Club or the Kansas City Adventure Club (both within 2-3 hr. drive). You can probably find some local groups on meetup.com.

    Hi I'm a little farther north in New Hampshire. I'd be willing to get up early & drive a few hours for a good hike if you were comfortable hiking with a newbie. MA/VT is just a hop, skip & a jump from here.
