Hi everyone- I was recently diagnosed with endo and have been feeling an intense amount of pelvic pain. Sometimes the pain gets so bad I have to lay in the fetal position and just pray it goes away fast. I get the chills, feel like I am going to pass out, and then after about 10 min it goes away.
I have been doing some intense exercising as well lately, such as Wii Zumba and Wii Active. This past week I haven't exercised at all and I haven't had the bad pain nearly as bad. Does anyone know of any link between exercise and pelvic pain? What exercise do you feel helps or hinders you?

No link with me at all; it just happens with or without exercise. I do Zumba 3 times a week at the rec center. Last month, I did a demo with the group followed by regular class. an hour and fifteen minutes in, it hit out of nowhere and I couldn't move my legs. I've been doing Zumba for almost 2 years and the pains from endo had just started about 5 months ago getting worse. I'm trying to find a link with food or something, but so far, there is nothing there for me to pinpoint. Haven't found any exercise that works that I can even get into a position to do, including yoga or basic stretching, without being in excruciating pain. :-( Best of luck to you.0

Hello, ladies. I have been on MFP for years but just picked up on the whole "groups" thing. Lol. So here I am! I am in a FB group on Endo as well.
Anywho, I just wanted to mention that diet does play a critical role in Endo for some people. I have been gluten free and dairy free for the past three months, plus being more selective about the quality of my vegetables and meat (locally grown and as close to organic as possible, grass fed when possible, etc.) Anyway, I have had a HUGE reduction in pain. I am still experiencing a lot of fatigue and some minor pain here and there (like a normal day or two before period), but the daily debilitating pain is gone. Feel free to friend me to follow what I am eating and share inspiration. Blessings and pain free days to you both.0
