okay so seeing as this group is amazing and seems to actually know what they are talking about :P i was wondering if you guys could help or have tips on doing a cutting phase. this is my first time trying to do this and im pretty nervous about it. i know to eat lower carbs and higghhhhh protein. i usually lift around 5 times a week and then do 20 mins of cardio afterwards. my TDEE is around 2300 i believe..im 5'6 and weigh around 159 lbs looking more to lose body fat rather than completely concerned about weight but id like to end up around 125-130lbs..

Assuming your TDEE is 2300 (assumption being the key word here):

I would start your cut as follows:
    1850 kcals
    130 protein
    60 fat
    185 carbohydrate

This would be a starting point and not the holy grail of all that is cutting.

If you prefer additional protein or additional fat, you can reduce carbohydrate further to achieve this but keep training performance in mind when doing so.

Observe results after 2-3 weeks and adjust accordingly.

EDIT: Depending on your lifting experience, lifting 5 times/week is probably not optimal but that's a separate question.
