New to yoga, so just wondering what you all think about beginners and breathing ....

Which is important to concentrate on first the breathing aspects or the movements?

I think the combination of the two is important.
But honestly it took me a long time to be aware of my breathing while going through the poses. So I think naturally you will be concentrating on the movements more than the breath, but bring your awareness to the breath as you go. On each fold breath out and each rising up breath in. It will get easier, but dont forsake it, keep it in your awareness while you are doing your yoga..it does get easier :)

    thanks for the reply.
I do try with the breathing and have been pretty good in the slower movements, but once I start having to concentrate on what my body is doing I forget all about the breathing :\ good to hear the two will catch up with each other eventually
