Hi all!! Hope you are all having a great weekend! This is a long one for some of you too, with the MLK Monday off. Hope the weather has been agreeable to you wherever you are..so you can get your exercising in!! It warmed up a bit here, around 70 F. But, I have been so jet lagged this week, and this weekend, I don't seem to be able to stay awake long enough to work out at home...well that is my latest excuse!

Trying to make healthier choices this week! Anyone have any fun /interesting plans?? Zac, what movie did you see?? I have been re-watching the BIG BANG THEORY series starting from season 1. There are so many things that are funny that I never picked up on the first go around watching it!!

Have a great weekend all!!

    Hello all!
Nancy, I finally received your card--thank you! What a lovely and thoughtful surprise! When I'm not feeling well or dealing with stressful issues, my tendency is to turn inward and isolate until I'm "fixed," so here's a New Year resolution--I resolve not to go into hiding when stuff gets tough.
Another, concrete resolution--I WILL cross country ski across the lake again next winter.

Today I'm having a lazy day of reading and napping and watching t.v. with Jim. I'm fighting this systemic staph infection and feeling blegh, plus our high temp today was 6 degrees. Yes, good day to stay inside.

Foodwise, I'm doing really well. Most days I meet my program goals of 60+ grams of protein and stay under 800 calories. I'm really struggling to drink enough water though and need to just keep sipping all day.

Exercise is a huge bust right now. I can't seem to get motivated to try some new things that are doable. Instead, I'd rather piss and moan about painful joints and still not being allowed back in the pool. But tomorrow my exercise will be screaming and jumping when the Patriots win!!

I wish I had some entertaining news... Tomorrow Jim is forcing me to get out of the house, so perhaps something exciting will happen.

    What's new in your world???
    K.

Watching the Pats, made some dreamfields pasta with meatballs and sauce and was full after 1/8 c. pasta and 3 small meatballs. LOVE LOVE LOVE my new stomach.

We ended up not seeing a movie since the showing we were looking for was sold out. We ended up just going to dinner and playing some board/card games, which is always enjoyable.
