Surviving weekends

this was my first weekend on a low carb lifestyle and it went pretty good. Weekend recap: decided not to eat out fri and sat as usual. I cooked on Friday ate shrimp and grits on Saturday, worked out on Saturday, and was disciplined enough to only have two drinks the entire weekend! I made good effective decisions.
But Awesome last week! preparation and planning paid off. I have planned for this week so bring it on!
Please continually view my diary and send me as a newbie feedback and tips. Thx for ur support,

Grits are very high in carbs so they wouldn't be considered low carb. I guess it depends on how many carbs a day you have as your limit.

Weekends are soo tough, good for you for making the choice to stay in and control what you can. Eating out, especially as a newbie, can really throw us for a loop. It gets easier, as you learn more about what foods are best for your specific goals.0

This weekend was my first since getting serious about trying this, but it was easier for me, because I could cook at home, which I struggle with during the week, especially on breakfast. And I find this utterly hilarious because weekdays used to be easier for me when I was doing normal-esque foods... I ate out at a chinese buffet, stayed away from rice and friend foods, and obviously sweets, including sweet sauces. I know there are thickeners in the sauces, but I had far less of those than the actual meat and veggies. I was quite happy with myself because the rest of the day was negligible carbs from veggies and such. I'm not killing myself on counts yet - just making the best decision I can make each time...0
