It feels better than last week. It's amazing how the body adapts!

Done, too! Feeling stronger and my balance is better. Plank-ups are still awful. I've decided to just do as many as I can and hold in plank when I'm in danger of doing a face plant.

Soybeaner - you seem to get your workout in very early in the morning! I wish I could do that!

@Mellie289 I work out at 4:40 am or it does not get done. Usual excuses of little kids, traveling husband, rural midwestern location, full time job, blah blah. So I've decided to do this. I just need to stumble out of bed 30 minutes earlier than I was otherwise. Not bad in the grand scheme of things. Kind of wish my youngest would start sleeping through the night though. Would make it easier (nudge nudge little girl). My morning just goes smoother if I am ready for my day (workout, shower, hair, breakfast) before my family starts their day.

I do the same with the plank ups. They sure make holding a regular plank seem easy!

Anyone else struggle with reaching your leg during the downward dog? I think I'm doing it wrong. Or I am severely not flexible which is also possible!

I am terribly proud of my push up progress though. Makes me feel terribly tough to be able to do regular push ups

soybeaner - I'm impressed! I will start trying to work out before my morning shower maybe in a week or two if I can haul myself out of bed a little earlier. It's not easy as I'm not a morning person, but I haven't tried to do this recently because the workouts have been leaving me so exhausted, I want to leave them until the end of the day after I've already expended my work energy. Today was the first time I've done the workout before work because I was coming in late (night class tonight that I'm sitting in on) and it wasn't as bad as the first few weeks.

I'm not sure of my form on downward dog either - I'm doing two hands down because I don't have the upper body strength to hold on one hand.

My pushups suck. I will be happy when I can lower myself and push back up without dropping completely to the ground in between - but still, I didn't think I could even do that yet until Jillian made me try.

Way to go! When it gets easier, we probably end up doing more, so still work up a good sweat!

Have you tried doing them with the hands slightly higher placed than your feet?

I was just thinking about that yesterday - maybe using a step. I had forgotten that's what I did last time to work my way up to being able to do proper military style pushups. Thanks for the suggestion.
