Whee! Finally! I think I may try to get some running in this weekend and see if that gives me a little boost. 150 would be awesome even though my original goal was 145. I've been doing more with weights and less cardio and I think that's why my progress is so slow on the scale.
I am struggling with the same thing. Down 4 back up 2...it's frustrating but am hoping that I will make more progress soon!0 -
Starting this challenge a little late!
Start weight (1/1): 197
1/28: 194
Easter goal weight: 175
Ultimate goal: 1550 -
I can't update the spreadsheet for some reason. I'm at 223.9 Would someone be able to add it for me? thanks!0

Here is my WEEKLY progress Thurs 1/22:
I learned this format from the 20 pounds by Christmas Challenge and it helped me tremendously, so I will continue using what works! Mini-Goals are fantastic....much less overwhelming for me.

Ultimate Goal Weight: 125 -135
Lbs to Lose by Easter: 20 (4 pounds lost so far for this Challenge)

Hi Everyone,
I lost 2 lbs this week. It's been a busy week and I am presently on the road en route to Florida - trying to avoid all of the snow down the eastern seaboard. Not much exercise this week but I've been pretty good with my food.
Here are my stats:
OSW: 230 lbs
UGW: 140 lbs
SW for Easter Challenge: 193 lbs
GW for Easter Challenge: 173 lbs
Current Weight: 187 lbs
Weight Lost under Easter Challenge: 6 lbs
Weight left to lose under Easter Challenge: 14 lbs
How was your week, everyone?0 -

Well no loss for this week. I am not too surprised...had a few goodies but not too crazy. Glad for no gain Even though the scale has not budged my clothes are without a doubt a little looser. My montra....it's a life style change and if I continue eventually it will yield results. Awesome job everyone and just keep on going!

So there are a LOT of people on the spreadsheet who haven't logged a single weigh-in or just did the first week. Is it possible to pare it down (maybe delete those who haven't checked in at all)? It gives us a better idea of how we are meeting our goals as a group in terms of the numbers across the top. Just a thought.0

Deleting is a bit harsh, and discouraging to those who go rogue for a couple weeks but then come back.
Suggestion for whoever maintains the Spreadsheet:
1. Sort all the data by Column M (Weigh-In Week 4) That will put everyone who didn't log Week 4 below the people who did. Of course, that will also sort people by their weights, so . . .
2. Sort those who DID log Week 4 by Column A (their names). (The inactives will already be sorted by name.)
3. Finally, revise Row 1's formulas to only include those who logged in Week 4.
I would do it myself, but I don't want to step on the toes of those who might disagree or have a better idea.0 -
Also, there are some who are logging in kilograms. So all group calculations are adding a hodge-podge of kg and lb measurements. Sorry, I don't have a solution for that one.0

Eating's okay right now. Need to step up the workouts, though!0 -
Well done everyone, total losses have been amazing so far considering its only been a month!
SW: 158
#1: 156
#2: 156
#3: 155
#4: 153 lb
total: 5 lb
I feel like I'm finally cracking this weight loss malarkey! I've found when I stick to my calorie goals each day (especially on fast days) then I'm more likely to lose weight (simple rule but hard to follow sometimes!)0 -

I've sorted the sheet as you suggested, but revising the first row formula to only include people who logged this week is a) potentially just as problematic as deleting people. If you didn't log, none of your progress so far counts for the group and b) will have to be done every week as more people log/don't log?
To fix the kg issue WRT totals though, I could simply code the relevant fields to auto-convert to lbs (did this in another sheet for a km/mile discrepancy) so that the 'totals' make sense, but then the people logging in KGs would see their personal totals in lbs so...0 -
