I got it into my head that I wanted to drop ten pounds by the time I got to Florida in three weeks. That all back fired.

I noticed my weight wasn't budging anymore and climbed up by three pounds. I reset my goal back to what was working for me which is 1.5 pounds a week and eating between 1600 and 2000 cals a day depending on how much exercise I got in. Weight is starting to drop again. That was dumb, I should know better because around 1300 cals I'm starving by the time I go to bed. And I noticed I was losing muscle mass a little.

I don't understand how others get it in their heads that 1200 to 1300 is a good idea.

I can't do that, I like being able to eat and eat what I want and still lose weight at the same time.

So it's backfired and I'm back to consuming more then 1400 cals a day.

    Good!!! I think it's a lesson to learn that the fast way is NOT the best way.

    I too fell into that trap of eating less move more type of theory. Thankfully it was beat into my head to eat a lot more than what I was. I've now upped it from 1400 calories to almost 2000, and I'm a little scared. If I notice my clothes are getting too tight, then I just back down the calories a bit. We are doing it the best way possible, slow yes, but it'll stick in the long run!

    I lost those three pounds this week. That showed me that more is better ;) I can't wait to drop below the 280 mark

    I went to an all you can eat sushi buffet tonight. You have to eat everything on your plate though or they charge you full menu price if you don't. This is a good all you can eat place to go, it discourages you from way over eating. Pretty sure I shot my cals up but that's okay. I've been behaving most of the week.
