First off, sorry I didn't post a challenge last week, things were a little crazy and the weekend got away from me. I got this from a post I saw on my newsfeed. We are getting to the end of January. All of the New Year's Resolutioners that SWORE this year will be different are fading into the background. Even those who are the strongest in their commitment to a healthy lifestyle are losing motivation. We are sore. We are tired. We are all dreaming about *insert choice indulgence here*. So lets take this week to remind ourselves of why were are doing this journey.
I challenge you to share your motivators. Fill this thread full of motivational quotes, images so as our motivation wanes, we can look back at this an respark the fire!

I remember when I was in gymnastics when I was a kid, this poem was posted on one of the walls.
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won if he'd stuck it out.
Don't give up, though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man;
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup,
And he learned too late, when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out -
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are -
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit.

I am afraid i live by the motto "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger". Its not really a motivator for losing weight, more a way to take life head on.
My motivation is pretty basic, i want to feel better in my body (and not feeling the weak spots all the time, like my knee and back).

I think "What doesn't Kill you Makes you stronger" is a great motivator for living your life and can be applied to weight loss. It is about not giving up and getting back up and trying again which is a constant theme in weight loss.

To have energy.
To feel like I deserve it.
To be accountable.
I even ate a Sonic Hamburger today but it was a jr. I can still be with the group and socialize but fit it into my count. I won't eat a fast food meal that often but to expect you will never eat those foods is unrealistic. I love being aware of it all and seeing results on the scale.0 -
To be fit and feel good about myself!
To build my self confidence up!
To be the person I know that is inside just fighting to come out!!0 -
To focus more on life instead of trying to hide my body
To be a good example to my nieces and nephews
To feel confident and energetic
