I've had the sleeve revised from the lapband January 2014, so i'm one year post op. I love my sleeve! I don't even realize that my stomach is a lot smaller than it used to be. I still enjoy the foods i love, just a lot less of them. for me the hardest part was the two weeks after surgery doing the liquid diet. I lived on soups, yogurt, jello, pudding, mashed potatoes and protein shakes. soo boring! So far between the lapband and the sleeve i've only lost about 65lbs. But i was only 233lbs when I first had my band put in. I'm now at 166 . I hit a major stall and was in maintain mode with my eating and workouts. It didn't matter how much i exercised and how i ate, i just couldnt lose anything. Just this past week i have changed my diet and workouts and i have lost 3 1/2 lbs. Just remember that the sleeve is a tool to help you lose the weight. it's not the magic pill that we are all hoping for. You still have to eat right and yes you have to work out. or you will fall back into your old habits and gain weight again. and also remember we all lose at different rates. Just because some one might be losing it real fast, you might not. Don't compare yourself with other sleeved patients. You'll get discouraged! Good Luck!0
