I have been using MFP since Jan 1, I have been low carbing, I have lost 9lbs. I would like new friends for inspiration, and also I can be nosy and look at your Food Diaries for ideas lol...If anyone is interested please let me know!

Hey....I'm looking for new friends and ideas as well. I've stalked LCHF for a very long time and jumped in last year....fell short during the Holidays and now back at it. I enjoy how I FEEL when I stick to plan. Add me if you wish0

I haven't started yet and think I may only be able to do "lower carb" versus low carb; but if you're interested, send me a FR . Congrats on your loss so far . My understanding of low carb or lower carb is that it has to be a way of life for it to work; but ultimately it would be worth it, especially if it benefits our health and well-being ... At least that is what I am hoping for . Take care0

I would love some new friends on here! Right now all my friends are family and it sure would be nice to have someone trying to lose weight the same way I am.

Wow, 9lbs is great! I'm very new here as well so looking for friends too. My diary is public so feel free. I've only been logging for a couple of days and today was a bit of a wash. We were snowed in because of blizzard Juno and I had one too many servings of fries0

Hi, I'm fairly new having started in Sep. 14, took a break over the holidays, and back at it the past few weeks. You have come to the right place, especially if you've spent ANY time in the main forums. There are a lot of calorie in/calorie out proponents who can't wait to tear into anyone who has a differing opinion. Very different in this group.0

Angscott, congrats on your loss!!! Welcome to everyone new! I have done the LCHF lifestyle before and had tremendous success a few years ago. I fell off the wagon when I went on vacation and.. well here I am after many failed attempts at other diets. I found that this lifestyle works for me and makes the most sense. I started again in November 2014 and have lost 15 lbs so far. I have been on MFP for a while (which is why it shows I have only lost like 1.5 lbs since I started lower then ballooooned!), but now I am trying to be more involved because I know how much it helps to keep on track! Anyone can friend me, and feel free to snoop on my diary, because I will likely do the same... lol. I have a 7 day cruise in 10 days that I am DETERMINED to continue my new lifestyle and WOE during.... This groups is full of so many delightful people and vast amounts of knowledge.0
