Best thing I've done this go-round is getting back to BPC on a daily basis. I find myself getting sad when I get down to the dregs in the bottom of my mug. **sigh**
At least there's always more tomorrow where that came from...

Two days ago I would have called you all nuts, but yesterday I tried bpc. Oh my this is heaven in a cup.0
-
love it! i put a bit less butter n oil in so i can have extra and i do cheat and pop a tiny drop of bonsoy in0
-
I'm drinking mine now!! ... I definitely miss it when I have to skip a day for some reason. LOVE it0

Sipping it now. Sooooo happy.0

I do like BPC but I do IF with my feeding window opening at 1p, so my breakfast coffee stays black. On the days where I hit up the afternoon java, that creamy ghee/coconut oil goodness can definitely hit the spot!
Has anyone found a way to make it cold?0 -
Kirkor, I would think you could make some cold brewed coffee (this is easy to make and you can make a week's worth at once, but must be done over night) so that its delicious and not bitter and then mix it with ice, oil and butter in a blender and I bet it would be like a BPC frappachino.
I am sadly getting a little tired of my BPC after a year. I'm not very good with eating the same thing every day, so while I love that it lets me skip breakfast, I am starting to find it more perfunctory than desired. I just ordered some vanilla bean powder, so I'm hoping that will spice up the taste to make it "new" to me as I prefer it to a traditional breakfast.0 -

maybe a little less traditional, but if you don't do the butter/ghee, and use MCT oil instead of the CO and add some HWC (depending on preference)? I have MCT at home. I'll try to remember to give it a shot this weekend.0 -
I made an iced americano version this morning instant espresso, just enough hot water to blend the powder, coconut oil mixed with that, ice and cold water to fill cup, hwc on top. Sinks to the bottom and looks lava lampish as a bonus before it mixes in.0

I do hwc and coconut oil, but in hot coffee. I've tried it cold and it's a weird texture.

Still learning the abbriviations, what is hwc? Ta0

Really is tasty, I've even convinced other (non-keto) coworkers.
MCT Oil: When I was traveling for work, I packed some with me. Added it and HWC to my AM coffee in an insulated container (covered tightly!) and shook the daylights outta it to get my BPC on the road. Not as creamy delish as butter and coconut oil, but still good.
Another variation: I beat in a tbsp of unsweetened cocoa for a mocha BPC.0 -

I love mine! I use butter, co, hwc, vanilla, cocoa powder, a couple drops of EZ sweetz and a pinch of xantham gum. Sometimes I'll also add 1/2 scoop of vanilla protein powder. So creamy...Mine ends up around 16 oz. with about 2 carbs, but totally worth it.0

It's my obsession!0

Just made a Mexican mocha version of bpc ... However I'm not entirely cure of how to incorporate this into my way of eating. Do you replace breakfast ( eggs and bacon) with bpc?0

I have done that the past 10 days or so and have found I am not hungry until much later than any other day, even those when I had a high fat bfast.0 -
Some times I just do not feel like eating at all. This is a good time for me to include the BPC in my WOE. If I am in a hurry to get out of the house in the morning is another good use. And some times I just have not had enough calories fat in my day so I might add a cup of BPC and I interchange it with tea or coffee. Both are good. Love it with Bengal Spice tea.0

Some people use it as a meal replacement in the morning, on the theory that consuming fats only (no protein or carbs) prevents an insulin response, and this preserves some of the benefits of being in the "fasted" state. The caffeine and fats in the BPC help keep you from feeling hungry until later in the day, when you then eat solid food.
That is one school of thought --- however a BPC is still ~300 calories, and so while it may have little affect on insulin, those calories still need to be dealt with, and some think that ingesting a large amount of calories breaks the fasted state regardless.
It's also used as a way to make coffee "creamy" for those who don't do milk or cream.0 -
I'm not a coffee drinker and really don't care for tea. Could I use coco?

I don't see why not, just make sure your cocoa base doesn't have a ton of carbs. coconut chocolate sounds good actually0 -
I loooove BPC
i even love to add one packet of the Kroger gelatine and some sugar free vanilla flavoring. Blend that sucker up and pour it into molds and set in the fridge for awhile.. then TADA i have Bullet Proof Gummies. they're a great lil snack to pull out and munch on when im getting a craving for sweeties.0 -

Hmmmm...this has me thinking about trying this w/ some SF fruit flavored jello (omitting coffee, of course). Another kind of fat bomb...

Anything with carbs will spike insulin and negate the benefits of the fasted state in that respect.
But it could potentially still be used as a meal replacement for overall caloric budgeting.0 -
Does anyone else drink BPC and not feel full? I've been doing Keto for about a year and 4 months (I did not stay on track every single day), however when I drink BPC it does not make me feel full at all. I've tried it with an extra tablespoon of butter or coconut oil, or even MTC oil and no difference. I wish it kept me full until noon!0
