I got my training plan all set up...I start on Monday! I'm excited to finally be back into training mode after having to take a break for so long! I slept better last night than I did the night before...but not great. But I haven't been following my nightly routine recently. I know once I follow that for several days in a row, the stir craziness I feel when I go to bed will go away. My hubby's crazy schedule didn't help matters.
I ate VERY well yesterday! I still had about 400-500 calories left. But I wasn't hungry so I brushed my teeth and headed to bed. :) Then the ceiling started leaking, so had to climb up into the attic to place buckets until my hubby or dad can fix it. (probably my dad since my hubby has his long stretch of work and it's supposed to continue to rain for another day or two).
Now that housework is finally caught up, today's project is to catch up on bills, doctor appointments, insurance issues, etc. All those logistical things that have piled up while I've been sick. Want to get them taken care of before the weekend!
Have a great day everyone! Happy Friday!

val, I totally hear ya about routines. That's one of the reasons I actually like it when DH travels, because I enforce good habits (like kids making beds and hanging jackets and putting away shoes, etc). When DH is here, he does a few things for the kids rather than making them do it and everything else he lets go. Within just one day of me going to the tutor and for a run, there's jackets and shoes and all clothes and backpacks all over the place and there's just no way I can do it all. When he's gone, the kids do their stuff and I get to spend my time on more useful things like purging closets, putting away Christmas, etc. But I do miss running and the gym.

Well today was a terrible day until I ran! It was great. I'm on day three of no coffee and the headache went away mid-run, and maintaining my heart rate was much easier. Who knew that not drinking a pot of coffee before a run could help my heart rate training! Lol! Anyway, was just what my spirit needed. Wish I could do it all over again, except it's dark and kids bedtime, haha.

In other news, DH has still made excuses to not go sign up for the gym, even though everyday he says he wants to. I busted his chops about it a little because he came back from his trip with a fire in his gut, but has just been making excuses and i say, "just go right now!" but he just falls asleep instead (and jet lag excuse has been used up now! Haha)

Yall have a good one! TGIF! And keep clicking ;-)
