    ^good one!

Today we had a play date scheduled but got a call for casting, so we arranged to play near the casting and it was very fun. We walked all the way there to the play date, and to the casting, and back, so I'm well over 10,000 steps. The play date was great because we are good mommy friends, and we went to an industrial museum which the boys reallllllly loved and lil girl was just happy to hang with the boys. The casting was busy but a photographer we've worked with before, so quick. Then we just happened to be passing by the same area ad DH who was on his way home from personal errands and we all walked home together around the Acropolis.

Would've liked to run, but ran out of time today and will try tomorrow. Happy I got lots of steps today and am good on calories for the day so far.

Oh, also, DH signed up for the gym today. Haha I guess busting his chops motivated him. >:)

Sherry - sounds like you had a great day! You may not have gotten a run in, but it sounds like you were still very active. And well done on getting the hubby to sign up!

Had another good day yesterday. Getting back into a routine and soooooooo excited to get back to training! I made up my training plan and have all my workouts set up for next week. I'm ready to get this season started!

We have a super bowl party at our house tomorrow so there will be lots of food. I like this thread starter. It's nice to have days where we treat ourselves (tomorrow will be one of them) but it's amazing how mentally I'm able to handle it better when I don't think of it as cheating. When I think of it as a cheat then the thought is that I failed and then I start binging. When it's a treat, I don't binge. Psychology huh? Tomorrow I'm not tracking my food...but I will still try to make good choices. :)

Sherry, sounds like a great Saturday! And it's quite a coup that you got your hubs to the gym.

Valma, it's totally a different story to think about treats vs binge. For the former, I'm asking is it worth it? For the latter, I want to unhinge my jaw and shovel all the food in.

Last night I had my weekly treat meal... Today I ended up going straight from my 2 classes to meet family. I had hubs bring me a protein shake-gold star! Except that he made it weird and it didn't taste good :(. And we all ended up eating at Baja Fresh. I don't eat there very often because hot, salty chips are my crack.

At least I went to Pilates this morning and it was actually great. TRYING not to let tom derail my good eating habits.
