PCOS-Do you have it or know anyone that does?

I had my ovaries and my uterus removed when I was 38 years old due to fibroids in the uterus and cysts on my ovaries that would burst and were quite painful. I suffered with it for years and was set for surgery when my menustruation went crazy and I was at risk of severe anemia. I don't know if this is what I have/had but I feel for those who have to suffer from it.
