I'm sure some of you have seen this around, but I'm a huge nerd and I absolutely love this idea and wanted to post it here for anyone who wants to join me.
Another huge nerd put together this cool chart that documents Bilbo and pals' journey from The Shire to Rivendell. It's 397 miles each way, but of course it's broken up into small chunks. I'm going to be logging the number of miles from my exercise each day and adding it up to determine where I am on 'the journey.'
