So I am now on Day 6 on Phase 1! I think I have done really well BUT I caved in and cheated on Saturday and had a Diet Dr Pepper. How bad is this really? I know it has the artificial sweetner in it that i'm not supposed to have. Do i need to start over? Also should I be not having ANY sugar. I've done real well maybe like 1g of sugar a day if that, but I really hate not eating any fruit. Advise?

A diet Dr Pepper is allowed, so no need to re-start induction. Some ppl steer clear of diet drinks (like me) because fake sugar can be problematic when trying to lose, but i would choose fake sugar over refined sugar! Some LC foods may contain sugar, but I wouldn't add any additional. Sounds like you're on the right track, keep it up!0

Thanks so much for the insight! Considering i went from at least 1-20oz bottle of Pepsi a day to 1 diet dr pepper a week that didnt seem too bad to me. But I will avoid any kind of surgar as much as possible.0
