I normally have an oatmeal/protein powder concoction for breakfast but I ran out of oatmeal this morning so I pulled out what I had in my pantry and made another version of protein pancakes. They may be my favorite to date!
Here's the recipe:
1/3 cup egg whites
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/2 banana
2 tbsp PB2
Ground cinnamon (to sprinkle)
Mix top 3 ingredients together along with 1 tbsp PB2. Pour in pan and flip when edges are dry.
Mix 1 tbsp PB2 with splash of water. Spread on top of cooked pancake and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Calories: 198
Carbs: 16g
Protein: 28g
