    Morning ladies!

It sounds like everyone had been busy and reproductive, even if we didn't meet every fitness goal! I always try to remind myself, I'm not a professional athlete and I have other responsibilities. So sometimes the workout has to take a backseat to other obligations.

Laura - thanks for the help! I'll definitely be hitting you up with more questions as they occur to me! :)

Yesterday I did a bike ride in the morning and then a short swim in the afternoon. The swim had to be short because by the time I picked up the oldest and headed out, I only have about a half hour before I have to leave in order to have my rental kid home before his parents pick him up. (I'm not watching a 1.5 year old every day for a friend). But it was still nice to get some time in the pool...even if it's quick.

Today I plan to do some strides this morning for my run, and I will be working my upper body this evening.

I'm slowly trying to catch up on the big projects and chores. I got all of our paperwork organized yesterday for our tax meeting, and reorganized the folders so last year's stuff is filed away in a closet. I also sorted through some old stuff that was piled on the counter. We also caught up on oldest child's homework.nBut as soon as I organize anything or accomplish a project...the rest of the house disintegrates into madness for a day. Then I spend another day getting the rest of the house back into order. It's progress...but the two steps forward one step back kind of progress. I plan to make our long-needed doctor and dentist appointments this week. I also need to get new glasses, and our bedroom is a bit of a disaster. But I'm chipping away at it slowly...very slowly.

It's the start of our "weekend" as hubby works Friday-Monday. So happy Tuesday!

Val, I hearya about two steps forward and one step back! That's why I like it when DH goes away, somehow I manage to take a few more steps forward than usual, before the one step back.

Today it snowed! Okay, nothing like the US gets, but it was exciting to see. I made a last minute decision to take son to tutor since DH wouldn't go to the gym anyway, but I left half cocked and didnt pack gym gear and didn't wear my HR strap which is absolutely necessary for running for me right now. So I just walked at the park along with two regular runners who were running in the snowflakes.
