Auth approved for the Sleeve!!

I received a call from my surgeons office today saying BCBS had approved the auth for the sleeve. I will find out the date tomorrow. I am so excited and nervous at the same time!

Congratulations on approval! As someone who went through 3 denials before finally getting medical approval, going through a lot of red tape, hundreds of phone calls, doctor visits, and 130 mile trips it was well worth the wait. I had my gastric bypass on 9/27/12 and I have had virtually no complications or problems. Hope your surgery and recovery goes as well for you!

Congratulations!!!! It is very exciting, but scarry at the same time. I received my call yesterday from my surgeon that my sleeve has been approved. My surgery date is July 1. If you are interested, please feel free to friend me. Since our timelines should somehwhat coincide, it would be nice to embark on this journey with buddy.
