Digestion and peri-menopause

Has anyone else experienced digestive problems along with peri-menopause? I've definitely experienced changes and they are most prominent when my period is due, making me think they are associated. I get a couple of days of constipation followed by a couple of days of mild diarrhoea, but it all goes back to normal after that.
