Ran a fairly long run today. I've adjusted my target heart rate based on calcs using resting rate and max actual (per Garmin). Much better today. I've been running fasted for all this month and it helps me to know I'm on the right path, because I never need to fuel, which means I'm definitely in the aerobic zone. Today that was true even at a higher rate, and I felt as good (energy wise) at the end as when I started (except a foot hot spot and slightly sore legs and back from my backpack). So if I don't need to fuel and still have energy after 20k, I think it's safe to say I was in my aerobic zone. :-)
Anyway I think I earned those valentines truffles! Oh, just realized I didn't read the rest of yesterday's thread, gotta go do that! Have a good one!0 -
Wow, so after reading yesterday, congrats on the Surge Donna! Congrats on a new car(!) Laura! And Happy Valentines to you too April! I'll also say Happy Apokries! Which is Greek carnival. We took the kids to the school costume party today (Harry Potter and a pink bunny rabbit) and I bailed early on DH to go run, mwahaha! DH is off to the gym right now (yay!)0
