Hello, New to the group

Hi, I am new to the group. I have been trying to lose weight since October. I have managed to lose about 20 lbs. I don't mind the eating healthy and trying to watch calories, but, I HATE TO EXERCISE. It is a chore for me. I have been walking but everyday I just want to throw in the towel. I could really use some encouragement and possible ways to change my attitude about moving my body.
I need to lose 60 more lbs and it seems extremely overwhelming. HELP!!!

    Welcome! It takes time to get used to exercise. We've spent a lot of time on the couch and our bodies like it there. :smile:
    Perhaps walking isn't what you enjoy? Have you tried something else? Have you been walking since October? Do you walk the same route or vary it a little bit? Do you listen to music or an audio book while walking?
    Keep walking and trying to find out why you're not enjoying it.
