tummy workouts

Has anyone had success getting their tummy back in pre-baby shape? Is it mostly diet and weight loss or have you found certain exercises to be helpful? Or does it just take time for the skin to shrink back down?
I am almost back to my pre-pregnancy weight (2-3lbs away), but my jeans and pants are still tight around the tummy so still don't fit.
I'm 4 months PP, if that makes a difference.

    I have been back to my circuit training since 6 weeks pp and though it is shrinking but I am no where near my pre-pregnancy tummy :( I am only 2 kg away from pre-pregnancy weight but the tummy is still far from there. It will take time, no magic exercise here, just persistence. ( I am 10 months pp btw)
