Hello All! My name is Q; I am a 40 year old single mother to a wonderful 16 year daughter. it is beyond time for me to drop 75 lbs; i have been carrying this weight for almost over 10 years, now its starting to affect my right knee, as far as with pain and stiffness, iam only 5'5 so you can see how that can be an issue with my knee. Started using My Fitness Pal on monday(02/16/15)..........its been challlenge making good food choices and not going over my daily calorie limit........i joined this group for support and great tips on food choices and exercises that are quick and efficient since i work 2 jobs(i have a regular 8to5 mon-fri and i work a 12 hour shift on saturdays only; my ONLY OFF DAY is Sundays). Thanks In Advance.

Welcome, Q! May I first say how much I admire what you are doing? I'm sure you are tired a lot and just grab what is handy to eat. My best tip is to do your planning on Sunday. Buy in bulk and separate snacks and portions into Ziploc bags or containers ahead of time. That way, you can grab the number of calories you need for the day and stick to them. Only eat what you pack. There are also some great sites that can help you plan (and cook) a week's worth of meals on Sunday. Best of luck!0
