Rest days during The Shred

I don't know if this topic has been touched on, if so direct me there and I'll delete but, but are you guys taking rests? If so, how are you going about you days? Like 9 days on one day off or...?

I have done this:
Level 1: Feb 1st - 9th (rest day on Feb 8th) = 9 days total
Level 2: Feb 10th - Feb 19th (rest day on 19th) = 10 days total
Level 3: Feb 20th - tbc (lol)

I'm thinking of planning to do lvl 3 until a week Tuesday to make up for the other days I've lost in level 1 & 2 but I'm unsure because rest days are essential, even Jillian says so in the 30DS workout tips section of the DVD, which is why I don't understand how she hasn't encorporated them?

Muscles are built and changes are made to the body, while we rest and repair, so what are your rest day plans and how do you encorporate them into shredding?
