Alright, Wednesday workout is complete. My 13 year old daughter couldn't sleep so she joined me for my workout at 0'dark thirty this morning. Was nice to have some company. As the week goes on I am able to hold longer in the shoulder burner squats which is a good thing I suppose.
Hope you all have a great hump day!!!

Another red X on my workout calendar! Woohoo! I really like this workout. Makes me sweat but I don't feel like I'm going to die.
Would I think the same if it was the first Insanity workout on day one?
I'm starting having dreams about Phase 2. Last night in my dream I was wondering if I should do the Fit Test on Sunday instead of a double workout on Monday. Am I getting nervous or what?0 -

Funny, I have already decided that is exactly what I am going to do. No way I can handle two workouts, especially that early in the morning.0 -
I was planning on doing the Fit Test Sunday because of time constraints. Do you have any idea how long the workouts are for the 2nd phase?0

Max Interval Circuit: 60 minutes
Max Interval Plyo: 55 minutes
Max Cardio Conditioning: 47 minutes
Max Recovery: 47 minutes.
Also, we'll be doing our current Core Cardio & Balance workout which lasts 37 minutes as you know. On some days we need to add Cardio Abs which last 16 minutes if I'm not mistaken.0 -

I watched/skimmed the first one last week and it was close to 1 hour. Not sure how long the others are though.
I workout from 415-515, that gives me time to cool down and take a shower, get dressed and then get the kids/hubby up at 6 before I leave for work at 615. Next week I will have a bit more time as the kids will be out of school and can sleep in, but I like to cooldown before I hop in the shower so the 1 hour is tops for me.0 -
Pink Cheek, you are my hero. I would NEVER get up at 4am to do my workout even if I lived in a country where it's never dark outside at this time.
On the other hand, I used to get up at 3:45am once in a while just to wash my hair before going to work (I started at 6am, I had to catch the 4:45am train) - not washing them meant sleeping till 4:15 am. Today I'd sleep until the very last minute.0 -
I also was already thinking about splitting up the Fit Test and Work Out too
Today I was just as sweaty, but could completely those shoulder workouts a lot better. I wish all the workouts were this intensity, it feels great and not so intense, but then it wouldn't be INSANITY

Recovery workout # 3 was done early. Still with the bilateral side soreness but, rallied on.0

I would try not to split the workout but if it can't be helped do it in the same day Morning/evening.
It is exhausting and long but worth it because it makes the max workouts seem easier and shorter after that long session.
I don't envy anyone waking that early to function and travel.
You can do it guys.0
