What do you do when you have a sweet craving?

Do you have a fruit you enjoy more than others?
I've been cutting up and boiling apples until soft (keeping peels on), then blending them up in a blender until smooth (with added water if need be), and then pouring them into an electric ice cream maker and making apple sorbet. It tastes kind of like I imagine apple pie sorbet would, and a little bit is really nice. :-)

I have been all about pickles and olives for snacks lately. I also eat parsnips and carrots to curb sweet cravings.
I am interested to hear what other people do. Sweet things and coffee are my vices. When ever I get stressed out or tired those are the first things I want. wink:0 -
I have made these before, were not too bad.
