I thought we needed a little humor! :)

Great to see all the wonderful workouts people are getting in!

I got my run in yesterday, about 3.5 miles. Slowly getting my distance back up! I also did my lower body strength training.

Today I am heading out to the gym to ride the indoor bike. Gonna get some sprinta in during that workout. It's my daughters first piano recital tonight so she'll be practicing a lot today! :). I'm excited for her and hope it all goes well! So far this past week I've done a better job of sticking to a routine, keeping on top of household chores, and getting my workouts in. Of course, my husband and oldest and middle child have all been sick with a cough (hubby is far worse. The kids just have a cough, he has struggled to get out of bed the first week and the second week is still a bit of a lump). Now I've felt a bit drippy, but I'm telling myself that it's allergies. The power of positive thinking, right?

I hope you all have a fantastic Monday!

    Hi, love the humor post!

Sorry your family is sick, my hubby got sick about a week ago and is still fighting it. On the worst days I felt bad I was too far away to make him soup.

I am leaving daughters house today and headed back to Arcata area where we are moving for a few days. Treating myself to a massage tomorrow.

The weather is like late spring here so no excuse not to be out. Sunday met up with younger family for picnic by the bay, so pretty out with sailboats. Did some walking.

I believe strongly in the power of positive thinking for warding off illness. Sometimes it even works. :) Your running seems to be coming back really fast, Val. That's awesome.

Marla the weather sounds glorious. Also the massage. I got one on Friday and it felt so good.

It's cold here again. Supposed to get 3-6" of snow tomorrow, then cold again, but by the end of the week & into next week it should finally get above freezing again.

    Jason & run tonight.

Hi all!! I read y'all, but don't have time to comment. DH is packing up and will leave super early in the a.m.

Today lil girl went to "little school" (tutor) with her brother and it was a success! I did some errands nearby, so I'd be close if they called me. Also, got my Starbucks reward from last month's coffee abstinence goal. The errands helped me to get my steps, but no other exercise today. Looks like she'll be at "little school" daily while DH is away and I'll get to run!! (giddy)

    Y'all have a good one!

My workout for Monday was 45 minutes of Spinning class. I felt so out of shape! It was tough. But I went and I survived!
