Exercise progress

I want to get a thread going for people to post any progress/improvements they have made in exercise - could be a new PR on bench press, fastest run, new distance on walking... no improvement to small, no exercise excluded.

Whatever you accomplished, stand up and let it be heard!

I'll start off with this:
Increased by 1 pushup per set - up to this:
10 sets of 9 with feet raised 8"
3 sets of 9 with feet raised 16"
Total: 117 pushups (up from 104)

  • Went from doing nothing 7 days a week to doing at least some form of exercise for at least 15 minutes a day 4-7 days a week.

    This month I seek to do 30 minutes a day 4 days a week and at least 15 minutes the other 3.

    Nice job! That initial start up can be a real *kitten*... I liken it to trying to push a car. Not so bad once you get it rolling, but getting the inertia going can be tough.

    My old workout was just running at least 3 miles 3 times a week. Now my new goal is to push myself to include 2 days of the insanity workout cardio. It's hard on days I am not motivated.

    I've bumped up my program a bit since I wrote this:

    Pushups
    10 sets of 10 with feet raised 8"
    3 sets of 10 with feet raised 16"
    Total: 130 pushups (up from 117)

    Squats (bodyweight only)
    10 sets of 7 Zombie squats
    3 sets of 7 prisoner squats
    Total: 91 squats
