I had RNY on 2/2/15 I have been advised to eat 8-9 times a day, make sure 70-80grams of protein, plus drink 64oz of liquid all in one day. What are some tricks?
Thank you

A month out you should be on soft/pureed foods I assume? My plan said to have 5-6 small meals a day. My food processor is tired since I just finished that stage today! I always start my day with an Atkins shake, either cafe caramel or mocha latte. Then later for breakfast a scrambled egg. Lunch would be tuna fish with mayo and some strawberry slices. Late afternoon another protein shake or deli meat slices. Supper was a lean cuisine meal. I took the protein portion with part of the veggies and a spoon or two of the carb portion and processed. Turned into a perfect half cup size and I wasn't left with a bunch of leftovers in the fridge. I didn't do this every evening, but they do work out well for an easy fix. I never drink fluids with my meals and wait at least an hour after eating. Otherwise I am drinking water. I have managed to get my requirements in since about three weeks out. You should be close. Just remember, low carb and high protein. Makes your body burn fat, instead of muscle, for energy.0
