Does each app have a different plan?

I'm using C25k Free by Zen Labs. And each day for each week has the same workout. At least it has so far. I've only glanced at the rest of it.
Week 3 is jog 90 seconds, walk 90 seconds, jog 3 minutes, walk 5 minutes two times.
What app do you use and is it different?

The apps have variations. don't worry about it, though. There will be progression..0

I use the Simple C25k app for my android phone and I think there is a little variation from the official website. It's all good though. As long as you work up to running a full 5k, it shouldn't matter :cheers:0

I used the NHS podcasts, I loved Laura's encouragement and running tips.0

I think I'll look into that. Never thought about trying one of the podcasts.0 -

I'm using Zen Labs too! I thought it was like that too until week 5 when I got on the treadmill day 1- and ran 5 minutes walk 3 x3 times and then today I got on expecting to do the 5 minute run, and I was running 8 minutes walk 5 x2! And tomorrow I have to run 20! Sooo we'll just see how that goes. I think its repetitious to get you into like the mode of doing this so that you're not just rapidly increasing before you progress and stabilize your running.
I personally love Zen Labs! And plan on using the 10K app after, since its the same program, you can just pick up where you left off or start from the bottom!0 -
I am in week 3 right now using the Zen Labs one too. I really like it so far. I especially like that I can have my music or podcasts playing and the cues still speak to tell me to run or walk. Very handy. So far, I've only had to run 3 minutes in a row. I wasn't sure if I could do it, but I did!0

I used this one also. The music is not at all my style, but she isn't too gabby and her helpful tips are concise. I tried the chubbyjones podcasts but she was too much like a morning radio DJ. Which I think might be her profession LOL0 -

This is the one I use - she's like a girly buddy to go running with and she keeps me moving0 -
I've been using the Zen labs one as well. I've been stuck on week 5 now for the last month because I can't run the full 20 minutes and I refuse to move on until I can. Its frustrating. I"ve restarted the week 3 times now and have definitely improved during the 5 minute runs & the 8 minute runs but on day 3 I hit a wall around the 10 minute mark. The longest I've been able to run without stopping is 11 minutes. But dispite this I'm not giving up.0

You are ready to slow down a bit now. Get the distance before you get the speed.0 -
I use Zen Labs too and I'm on Week 8.0

I've already slowed it down significantly. I've had a lot of issues with my breathing and heart rate but I'm slowly getting that under control. Its taking me longer than some others but I'm ok with that. I"m still over 50lbs heavier than I want to be and this time last year I could barely walk due to plantar faciatis (sp?) and thats completely resolved, so building my stamina will come in time.0
