Hi Marcella and Bri! Great job sticking with the challenge. You can always stop by the blue team thread.... or we could combine?

I haven't weighed in for 2 weeks, but if I haven't been removed from the chart, I will weigh in next Sunday.

Good morning Red Team. How is everyone doing with staying on track and recovering from Mother's Day celebrations? I have gained a few pounds, but getting it back off this week. Looking forward to posting on Sunday no matter if I'm still up a little or not.

Hello all. How many do we still have participating in the Red Team?

Marcella, I went to a Fashion Show for Mother's Day. I had a great time. No dinner I later regretted...Lol. So I didn't gain. Hoping to lose something by our next weigh in. I got laid off my job beginning of this week so I'm not looking forward to the next few weeks.

I'm still in it though I didn't weigh in this past week. The last I weighed I was headed back up, I can't seem to get going, I lose a pound or two then regain it. I'm hoping the upcoming warmer weather will get me moving(gardening) more and in a better frame of mind.

Oh, Bri, that just sucks about your job. I don't really know what to say. Stick with your eating plan so that you don't have another thing stressing you out. We will keep encouraging you!!!

Lori, glad you're still here. Its hard to be encouraged when you're dealing with a gain. Keep plugging at it.

Thank you Amy. I appreciate that. The bright side is I will have more time to devote to my eating plan.

Have fabulously healthy and happy weekend ladies.

Red Teammates - Sorry about the gain. I think I've gotten everything re-regulated now and should be able to get the number going back down again. I'm having to make peace with a new normal that simply doesn't include processed foods. It definitely isn't worth it and with a small amount of planning, can be avoided. The upside is that I love eating "real" foods (prefer it, in fact). Just sometimes the convenience and fun... Ugh. Anyway, I much prefer living life full of energy, sleeping better, less stressed, ... all of which come from me eating wonderful foods. It never ceases to amaze me that I still occasionally slip up and forget that. When I was younger, I could eat anything and it didn't matter. This is a small price for me to still be able to "feel" young.

Bridget - Hope your job search is going well and that you are able to enjoy some of your time off.

Lori - I'm looking forward to getting back to gardening myself (maybe today). It makes such a difference with how I feel and how those numbers fall on the bathroom scale.

Bridget, Lori, Julia, Shay, and Deb - You guys have a great week! <3

Hey there - sorry I've been MIA this time around. I'm usually really active when I'm part of a group but there's been a lot going on and a change of jobs which is taking up a lot of my time - so many new things to learn. I'm keeping a log on the weight loss spreadsheet (holding steady which I'm amazed at) but haven't much time for forum chat as I could in the last challenge we did. Hope you're all having a great week and I love all the losses everyone has made so far. Keep it going and I'll pop in again as soon as I can.

Thanks Marcella!! Appreciate the encouragement. I actually gained this week too but I'm confident that I'm gonna have a loss next weigh in. I started logging my food couple days ago and making healthier choices again. I feel wonderful!!

Thanks for stopping through Julia. Rejoin us when you can.

Well, I worked really hard this week to get the extra pounds that I had gained this month back off. At 171, I was a little less than a pound away from my May 3rd weigh in of 170.3. Part of me is sad that I gained and then had to lose back down. But another part of me is excited that, because of MFP and challenges like this, I was able to regroup before it got too out-of-hand.

So true, that it one of the best parts of MFP!
